During Adult CPR/AED, each student uses an individual mannequin for extensive hands-on practice. Adult CPR is used on victims ages 9 years and older. Automated External Defibrillator trainer machines are used for hands-on practice of AED.The Basic First Aid class includes hands-on exercises as well. Each class includes a full-color student workbook. These courses are taught by paid, professional Safety Council Instructors. Adult CPR/AED and Basic First Aid Certification are each valid for 2 years. Attendees must wear a face mask at all times, bring a blue/black ink pen and valid photo I.D. Payment in advance is required. Reservations are taken on a 1st paid basis. Classes fill quickly. Note: Class is cancelled if no registrations are received 2 weeks prior to class date. Payment in advance is required. Checks are accepted up to 14 days prior to the class date. Mail a check or money order to: Safety Council, 6004 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95207-4349. You may pay with cash (exact change required) during normal office hours. If seats are available, cash or money orders will be accepted at the council office only for last minute reservations during the 14 days prior until 11:30am two business days prior to the class date. Check the office calendar for special closure dates/times. The council makes every effort not to cancel or overbook classes. Therefore,tuition is not refundable or transferable to a different date. No walk-ins are admitted on the day of the class.
