During Adult CPR/AED and Basic First Aid, each student uses an individual mannequin for extensive hands-on practice. Adult CPR is used on victims ages 9 years and older. Automated External Defibrillator trainer machines are used to demonstrate AED.The Basic First Aid class includes scenario to apply skills. These courses are taught by paid, professional Safety Council Instructors. Classes are currently offered in English only. For those taking CPR/FA training for the first time: 5-hr Training includes full-color student manuals and competency exams. For those with prior training experience: 4-hr Refresher training On-site sessions can be scheduled for up to 10 people per session.
