This course is EMSA approved for California School Bus Drivers. This course includes information on asthma and nebulizers. These courses are taught by paid professional Safety Council Instructors. School Bus Drivers - Pediatric First Aid certification is valid for 2 years. This course covers legal considerations, primary and secondary assessment, soft-tissue, muscle, bone, and facial injuries, burns, stroke, diabetic emergencies, seizure, asthma, use of nebulizers, sever allergic reaction, poisoning, bites, stings, heat and cold emergencies. Payment in advance is required. Checks are accepted when received up to 14 days prior to the class date. Mail a check or money order to: Safety Council, 6004 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95207-4349. You may pay with cash (exact change required) during normal office hours. If seats are available, cash or money orders will be accepted at the council office only for last minute reservations during the 14 days prior until 11:30am two business days prior to the class date. Check the office calendar for special closure dates/times. The council makes every effort not to cancel or overbook classes. Therefore, tuition is not refundable or transferable to a different date. No walk-ins are admitted on the day of the class.
