The Safety Council uses a SMARTBOARD Interactive Whiteboard & Remote Response Units for each student to create a stimulating learning and testing experience.This 4-Hr session will address the effects of substance abuse (underage alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs & illegal drugs), making choices that are beneficial vs. detrimental, the effect that trauma, depression, impulsive & aggressive behaviors have on decision making, relationships and the ability to achieve your life goals.It will give you an opportunity to personally assess your situation in these areas that are so key to a successful life.There is required class work during class. You must be completely sober to attend this class.

Note: Juveniles who were driving after consuming/using attend the 12 Hour Education Component.

Payment in advance is required. Mail a check or money order and a copy of a current photo I.D. to: Safety Council, 6004 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95207-4349. You may pay with cash (exact change required) during normal office hours. If room is available in the class during the two weeks before the class date, cash or money orders will be accepted at the council office only for last minute reservations. The council makes every effort not to cancel or overbook classes. Therefore,tuition is not refundable or transferable to a different date. No walk-ins are admitted on the day of the class.
